Meet the ‘lifer restaurateur’ behind one of Denver’s hottest restaurant groups

Sage Restaurant Concepts’ COO Meaghan Goedde was recently profiled in the Denver Business Journal, speaking on her career, her perspective on the future of the restaurant industry and what’s next for Sage Restaurant Concepts.

Meaghan was SRC’s second associate when the company was founded in 2005. She opened SRC’s first restaurant – The Corner Office Restaurant & Martini Bar – at the base of the Curtis Hotel in 2007, and then went on to serve as GM for the openings of The Original, Departure and Urban Farmer in Portland before taking the helm of Mercat a la Planxa at the Blackstone in Chicago. She then became SRC’s Director of Training and Talent and SVP of Operations before rising to COO in March 2020 just before the onset of the pandemic. Today, she oversees SRC’s portfolio of 31 restaurants and 20 bars nationwide – and growing.

Passion and excitement like Meaghan’s is what will inspire a new generation of restauranteurs to fall in love with our industry.
